Alfonso de Anda aka Poncho de Anda (born July 25, 1974 in Mexico City) is a Mexican TV show host.

One of the most popular faces of the us Spanish-language television, Alfonso de Anda has been recognized with awards such as “Sin Limite” for best Hispanic television host in the United States. ”Poncho,” as many know him, hosted for 8 years several Telemundo shows and specials, including the Red Carpet at the "Billboard Latin Music Awards", "Miss Universe", "Live Earth" and the "Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade", among others.

As the co-host of Emilio’s Estefan reality show “Nuevas Voces de América,” Poncho brought to the viewers every detail related to the show. He also served as host of the entertainment segments for Telemundo morning newscast “Hoy En El Mundo”, and the co-host of the morning variety shows “De Mañanita" and "Cada Dia”.

Throughout his career, Poncho has interviewed hundreds of celebrities and personalities in the entertainment industry such as Shakira, Enrique Iglesias, Antonio Banderas, Robert de Niro, and Angelina Jolie among others.

Poncho’s TV and radio career began in Mexico City nearly 10 years ago for "Grupo Radio Centro" Alfa 91.3 and TV Azteca . Then in 2001, he moved to the u.s to host fuzion, MUN2 television’s edgy entertainment magazine. In addition to his television background, alfonso, who holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from Mexico’s Universidad Intercontinental (Intercontinental University) and holds a Diploma from the University of Quebec.

His career started as DJ in Alfa 91.3 F.M, one of the most successful radio stations in Mexico City, where he worked as producer and host of his own show. In 2001, he moved from his country Mexico to the United States to work as the main anchor of Fuzión, an entertainment show for Mun2 television.

As a TV personality his career includes the video music show "Alfa Dance" and the entertainment show "Estudio Siete" for TV Azteca (Television Azteca). Between his career of radio and television, Poncho developed a singer and composer career and he became part of a musical group named "OZ". He was also elected in 2005 as one of the “50 Most Beautiful” from People en Español Magazine.
